Pietrele Doamnei Reserve (the Romanian name is Rezervația Pietrele Doamnei, translated into English as “The Lady’s Stones Reserve”) is one of the places where the Rarău Mountains reveal their visual identity most clearly. The rock formations that give the reserve its name rise powerfully from the landscape and create one of the most recognisable mountain images in Bukovina.
